Where is Happy-Prenda Pawnshop located?
We have two branches in Cagayan de Oro City. Our main branch is located at 055 Camia St. Ilaya Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City.
While our second (2nd) branch is located at Capt. Vicente Roa St, Cagayan De Oro City.
What is Happy-Prenda's operating hours?
We are open Mondays to Saturdays, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M
What should I bring when visiting the store?
Kindly bring one valid government-issued ID and the item you wish to have appraised or transact with.

What payment methods do you accept?
We only accept cash.
Where items can I pawn at Happy-Prenda Pawnshop?
We accept yellow gold items for pawning, including necklaces, pendants, rings, bracelets, earrings, gold coins, and other similar gold items, subject to appraisal and evaluation.
Pawn Services
How does pawning an item work?
Bring your item and a valid ID for appraisal. Once approved, we’ll offer a loan amount based on the item’s value. Upon acceptance, you’ll receive the cash and a pawn ticket with your redemption details.
How do you determine the value of my item?
We determine the value based on the item’s gold purity and weight. We conduct an assay and use testing equipment such as a densimeter and Vanta analyzer to help ensure accurate and fair appraisal.
How long is the Pawn Loan Period?
Our standard pawn loan period is 3 months, subject to the terms and conditions stated in your pawn ticket.
What happens to an item if is not redeemed?
It will be up for an auction sale.
Scrap Gold & Silver Buying
Does Happy-Prenda buy gold?
Yes. But we only accept yellow gold.
How much do you pay for gold?
Our buying price depends on the current market price of gold and the item’s gold percentage (purity) at the time of the transaction.
Do you buy Stone/Gemstone Pearls?
No we only buy gold and silver.
Do you buy watches/broken watches?
No. We only buy gold for the watch. You can take the machine. We only buy real gold.
Do you buy white gold or rose gold?
No. We only buy yellow gold.
Do you buy silver? Do you buy scrap or broken silver silverware and other silver items?
Yes we buy silver, broken or not, we buy it as long as its silver.
What type of gold items do you buy?
We buy gold items with gold content, including jewelry and other gold-bearing items. In some cases, we may need to melt the item first to accurately determine its gold purity before providing the final buying price.
How much do you buy Silver for?
It depends on its silver content. We'll actually appraise it before we give you the price.
Do you buy broken or old jewelry?
Yes, as long as they have gold or silver content.
